How The CRM Cleanup  Service Works

Onboarding & Setup

During onboarding, we define your ideal company and contact properties, including custom properties like industry taxonomies, and map Clay's enriched outputs to your CRM properties for seamless integration.

We then configure enrichment rules, deciding property overwrite settings, read-only properties, and update frequencies based on object types (e.g., customer, prospect).

All details are documented in the data model tab of our project management sheet, serving as the central source of truth.

Setup & quality testing

After mapping your CRM data model, it's time to build the Clay enrichment workflows and AI prompts.

Next, we'll run a sample company or contact list through our enrichment workflow, and manually verify the output values to ensure 90%+ accuracy.

You can review the data, and give feedback. We iterate on the workflow until you're completely satisfied with the results, before enriching your broader dataset.

CRM cleanup

Once the enrichment workflow achieves 90%+ accuracy, we proceed to bulk CRM enrichment.

After backing up your CRM data, your entire CRM dataset is processed through the Clay workflow, following preset rules for overwriting or read-only fields based on account or contact type.

Historic records are cleaned to match your specifications, ensuring confidence in your CRM data for ICP analysis, target account list building, and more.
