How Our CRM Integration Service Works

Define properties & enrichment rules

During onboarding, we define your ideal company and contact properties, including custom properties like industry taxonomies, and map Clay's enriched outputs to your CRM properties for seamless integration.

We then configure enrichment rules, decide existing property overwrite settings, read-only properties, and re-enrichment frequencies based on object types and specific properties (e.g., customer, prospect).

Setup and quality testing

After mapping your CRM data model, it's time to build the Clay enrichment workflows and AI prompts.

Before enriching your entire database, we'll run a sample company or contact list through our enrichment workflow, and manually verify the output values to ensure 90%+ accuracy.

You can review the data, and give feedback. We iterate on the workflow until you're completely satisfied with the results, before enriching your broader dataset.

Turn on ongoing enrichment workflows

Once the enrichment workflow achieves 90%+ accuracy, we turn on automated enrichment.

All new records are scrubbed with Clay before entering your CRM, and the existing database is re-enriched according to the enrichment rules defined at the beginning of the project.

All new records in your CRM are accurate and fully-enriched upon creation, and the existing database is automatically maintained.
