How Our Inbound Enrichment Service Works

Define inputs, properties, & enrichment rules

We start by defining your ideal company and contact properties, including custom properties like industry taxonomies. Then, we map Clay's output values to your CRM properties for seamless integration.

Next, we configure enrichment rules, such as existing data overwrite settings, depending on the property or object type.

Lastly, we define your data input sources for our automated enrichment workflows, such as inbound contact forms or product sign-up flows.

Setup and quality testing

Next, it's time to build the enrichment workflows, including Clay tables, AI prompts, and custom code, if necessary.

Then, we'll run a sample company or contact list through our enrichment workflow, and manually verify the output values to ensure 90%+ accuracy.

You can review the data, and give feedback. We iterate on the workflow until you're completely satisfied with the results, before enriching your broader dataset.

Turn on automated enrichment workflows

Prior to this step, the Clay enrichment workflow was in a static testing environment. After passing quality assurance testing, it's time to turn on the automated workflows in your production environment.

We'll connect Clay to your inbound lead contact forms and other data input sources to trigger new enrichments. We also connect Clay to your CRM, where qualified, enriched records reach their final destination.

Maintain and improve workflows

After setup is complete, we remain involved with the workflows, ensuring bugs don't break your GTM engine.

We're also are around to update or improve the workflows. Ask us to connect new input sources (ie, lead forms, etc) to the workflow, change enrichment rules, or add new enrichments on-demand.
